Todd Chandler - Director

Todd Chandler is a filmmaker, artist, and educator. His filmmaking practice includes issue-based documentary, creative non-fiction, and cinema-based installation. His work has been featured at the Hammer Museum, Brooklyn Museum, Mass MoCA, Wexner Center for the Arts, True/False, and the Camden International Film Festival. He has worked in schools, and with community based organizations to create videos about pressing contemporary issues. His first feature film, Flood Tide, takes place on a fleet of sculptural rafts as they travel down the Hudson River. He is the co-creator of Empire Drive- In, an experiential installation and programming platform made from salvaged materials and filled with junk cars from local scrapyards. The project has been commissioned by the 01SJ Biennial, Abandon Normal Devices Festival, and the New York Hall of Science. He teaches in the Department of Film at Brooklyn College.
 

Danielle Varga - Producer

Danielle Varga is a creative producer in nonfiction and documentary film based in Brooklyn. She co-produced Kirsten Johnson's award-winning film Cameraperson which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016 and was released by Janus Films/The Criterion Collection. She most recently produced the short documentary Watched, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2017. She was associate producer on Johanna Hamilton's documentary 1971 which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2014, won an IDA award for archival footage, and was broadcasted on PBS's Independent Lens in 2015. She was also associate producer for Bill Moyers’ weekly current affairs program Moyers & Company, and worked on several programs for PBS’s Frontline and American Experience series. She was a 2016-2017 Sundance Creative Producing Fellow.
